Owl Pellet Dissection Lab
Programs
An educator will give a ~30 minute presentation featuring 2 live owl ambassadors, followed by a guided ~60 minute owl pellet dissection lab. We will discuss the adaptations owls possess that make them such supreme nocturnal hunters as well as their role in the food web. Program includes all materials for 30 participants, additional supplies can be purchased. Touchable artifacts (such as wings, feet, pellets, etc.) and recorded vocalizations will be available. No touching of birds is permitted. (~90 minutes, supplies for up to 30 participants included, $275)
