Some birds may recover from their injuries, but can no longer survive in the wild. These birds have a permanent home at RAPTOR, Inc. RAPTOR has special permits from State and Federal agencies to care for these birds. Some birds are used to provide educational programs for various organizations: schools, scouting groups, and nursing homes and other organizations.

An experienced volunteer will give an informative presentation about each bird and talk about habitat,
feeding and other behavior as well as the
important role that these birds play in our environment
