Hamilton
County Park District
- Thanks to the park district, RAPTOR, INC. is able to house their
birds. The Hamilton County Park district has made great efforts in habitat
restoration that has provided homes for raptors and other wildlife that
were previously lost to this area.

The
Wilds-10,000 acres in SE Ohio have been developed into
grassland, wetland and woodland habitat. Endangered or rare species
of Africa, Asia and North America roam freely here.This is a good area
to spot raptors such as Northern Harriers, Rough-legged hawks and Short-eared
Owls in the winter months. This web site provides information about

The
Ohio Ornithological Society (OOS) - Like other societies,
the OOS aims to organize and promote fellowship among enthusiasts in
the study and enjoyment of wild birds, recruit new members among young
and beginning birders, encourage new and established local affiliated
organizations devoted to wild birds, and bridge gaps between professionals
and amateurs, private and public agencies, and between lovers of birds
and those who are, for the moment at least, indifferent to them.

facility for birds or prey.
Hawk
Mountain Sanctuary-Learn about this 2,400 acre sanctuary in
PA, that is one of the first refuges for raptors. This is also one of
the better places to see hawk migration in the Eastern U.S.

National Bird of Prey Center-This center is located in England.
Reelfoot
National Wildlife Refuge - Located in Tennessee, this is a gathering
place for wintering Bald Eagles. Eagle tours are usually in January
and February.
